This link leads to a data set published by Children’s Mental Health Ontario, which represents Ontario's community public providers of child and youth mental health. The data reveals that more than 28,000 children (18 under) are waiting for services regarding mental health and addiction. In the previous survey (3 years prior), there were only 12,000 children waiting. CMHO estimates that there may be 200,000 children requiring mental healthcare, but have not yet reached out or received care yet.
